Morning Drop-off Change

Due to construction of our new Chapel Performance Hall, there will be a change to morning drop-off going forward. Morning parent drop-off will move to Door 32, located in the parking lot between the Upper School Courtyard and E. 22nd Street. Drop-off times will be 7:45–10:00 am.

This change is necessary due to several large construction deliveries scheduled on E. 22nd St. during morning hours. To ensure safety and improve traffic flow, we are relocating drop-off away from the active work zone. Afternoon pick-up will remain on E 22nd St. as it currently operates.

Staff members and signage will be present to help direct you to the correct door during the transition.

Thank you for your flexibility and partnership as we prioritize safety during this season of construction!

Transportation Update

As of Monday, March 2nd, Giselle Rodriguez is no longer be serving as the Transportation Coordinator. She is now serving on our Admissions team here at Hope!

If you have any bus‑related questions or concerns, please contact our Transportation team directly by emailing Transportation@hopeschool.org or by leaving a voicemail at 612‑540‑2820.

If you haven’t already done so, please make sure to download our bus‑tracking app. The app is called MyRide K‑12, and it will help you track your child’s route and receive updates.

Important Check-In Update for School Events

To streamline arrival and improve security, all school events will now use QuickPIN check-in with the SchoolPass App.

• All parents must use their QuickPIN to check in
• Your QuickPIN can be found in the SchoolPass App (Profile → View QuickPIN)
• Download the app and log in prior to the event
• Have your QuickPIN pulled up and ready when you arrive for faster entry

QR codes for events will no longer be sent via email and text. Please see your email for more details.

Being prepared will help keep lines moving and ensure a smooth experience for everyone.

Kindergarten Parent Groups

Kindergarten parents are required classes that meet the first Tuesday of the month for an hour at Hope Academy or virtually on the first Wednesday of the month. Classes are led by Dr. Darrell Gillespie and cover topics like sibling rivalry, tough conversations, community building and much more! They will go from October - May. Students do not need to attend. One or both parents may attend the sessions.

Upcoming dates: Tuesday, April 7th & Wednesday, April 8th (zoom).

Background Checks for Classroom Visitors

To ensure the safety of all students, any parent who wishes to enter a classroom during the school day (for volunteering, events, birthdays, chaperoning, lunch visits, etc.) must first complete a free background check at the front desk. Please bring a photo ID to complete this process as soon as possible. The background check must be completed 48 hours before your visit. Background checks must be completed every school year.

  • Parents will not be permitted to a classroom during school hours without a completed background check.
  • While in the classroom, parents must remain within the line of sight of teaching staff.
  • Example: To join your student for a birthday, the background check must be completed in advance. Otherwise, staff will deliver items to the classroom.

We appreciate your partnership in keeping our school safe and welcoming for every child.
