Morning Student Drop-Off

Hope Families,

We want to sincerely apologize for the miscommunication regarding student drop-off and the confusion that it has caused the past few weeks. We understand that there were many frustrations for both parents and scholars. After further consideration, we have updated the protocol for morning drop off at the Peavey door. Please read below for the updates:

  • Scholars now will be allowed to enter the doors at 9:20a.m.
  • Peavey doors are open from 7:45a.m.-10:00a.m. (7:45a.m.-9:20a.m. drop off time being for before school care & other early morning activities)
  • Please note that if a Lower School scholar is dropped off at 9:20a.m. they will be waiting in line inside for nearly 25 minutes until school starts at 9:45a.m. If possible, please try to arrive closer to the typical drop off time that begins at 9:30a.m.
  • As a reminder, if you need to drop your scholar off sooner, we do offer before school care. You can call the Front Office for more details and pricing.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we continue to work to improve our processes moving forward.

Early Releases

As we start a new school year, please read below for some reminders about absences and early releases:

  • Mark any absences in the SchoolPass app by 10 am. It's important to report your child's absence so that you don't receive a text message indicating their absence.
  • You can mark absences in advance if needed.
  • All changes to dismissal plans need to be made in the app by 3:00 pm.
  • There are no early releases after 3:30 pm daily.
  • Students will only be called from class when their parent/guardian is at school for them. Please plan an extra 10 minutes into your schedule so we have time to locate your student and send them to the office.

Be sure to mark any absences, tardies, or end of day transportation changes for your kids in the SchoolPass app! We appreciate your partnership! Refer to the video below for more information.
