Hope Academy is looking for a part-time bus driver that will transport our athletic teams to and from games. Weekday late afternoons and evenings and some Saturdays. Additional hours could be available in mornings and early afternoons. Minimum of 20 hours per week guaranteed with weeks of 35 hours possible. This position runs from August 2024 to October 2024. Additional times in the winter may become available.
The Bus Driver will be responsible for executing the following:
· Drive 70-passenger school bus for fall athletic activities.
· Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections.
· Notify supervisors of any maintenance issues
· Rooted in the Christian faith and demonstrating high moral integrity.
· High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
· Requirements: Valid Minnesota Commercial Drivers License.
· Active driver – must have driven in the past 3 years.
· Good driving record with no driving violations or convictions.
· Must pass Department of Transportation physical. (Hope Academy will cover this.)
· Rate is $28+ per hour, depending on experience and qualifications of the candidate.
